“Careful babe ur on my wettie.”
This artwork was created using a Japanese marbling technique called ‘suminagashi’. First you mix a seaweed bi-product called carageenan with water to create a thick surface. After, you float ink on water, and then gently lay the paper on the surface. After that’s dried, I created the artwork using Posca pens.
Once it’s professionally scanned, the artwork is then printed by me using a very, heavy, very large printer on professional grade, archival paper and packaged by hand. All my prints are shipped in heavy duty, reinforced cardboard envelopes and biodegradable, plastic free slips.
This piece comes unframed.
